අපි කැමැතියි ඔයා කවුද මොනවද කරන්නේ කියලා විස්තර ටිකක් කියමුද?
මගේ නම කේ.ජී. සසංක ගිහාන් පුබුදු. මට වයස අවුරුදු 24යි. මම වෘත්තීය වශයෙන් Videographer කෙනෙක්. විනෝදාංශය විදිහට Photographyත් කරනවා. මට අවුරුදු 12 වගේ වෙනකොට කන් ඇහෙන එක ටික ටික අඩුවෙන්න පටන් ගත්තා දැන් හොදටම ඇහෙන්නේ නැහැ. ඇහෙන්නේ නැති එක කවදාවත් මගේ වෘත්තීයට බාධාවක් උනේ නැහැ. ඒ සේරම මම කලමනාකරනය කරගත්තා.

ඔයාගේ පවුලේ විස්තර සහ පාසල් කාලය ගැනත් විස්තර ටිකක් කියමුද?
අපේ පවුලේ පස් දෙනයි. කිරි අම්මා, අම්මා, තාත්තා, මම, නංගී. මම ගලේවෙල ප්‍රාථමික විද්‍යාලයෙන් එකෙන් අධ්‍යාපනය ලබලා, උසස් අධ්‍යාපනය ගලේවෙල Central College එකෙන් ලබන ගමන් වැඩිදුර අධයාපනය සදහා පුද්ගලික පාසලක් වන මොරටුව Dr. Rhinechus School එකෙන් අධ්‍යාපනය ලබාගෙන තිබෙනවා.

ඔබ ඡායාරූපකරණ ක්ෂේත්‍රයට යොමු වන්නේ කොහොමද?
අවුරුදු හයකට කලින් ඒ කියන්නේ 2015 දී. මම ඉස්සෙල්ලාම “ලේඛා ස්ටුඩියෝ” මගෙ මුදුන් මුල. ඉමේශ් අයියා යටතේ රැකියාව කලා. එයා තමා මගෙ මුල් ගුරුවරයා. එතනින් පටන් ගත්ත ගමන අද මේ තැනට එන්න පුලුවන් උනා.

මේ වන විට ඔබගේ ගමන් ගම ගැනත් කියමුද?
මම විඩීයෝග්‍රැෆී පැත්තෙන් තමා ගොඩක්ම වැඩ බාරගන්නේ.. Wolf Films තමා මගේ අනනතාවය. පොටෝග්‍රැෆී පැත්තෙනුත් වැඩ කරනවා. මට කණ්ඩායමක් ඉන්නවා. චලික මල්ලී, පසිදු, දර්ශන අයියා, හිරූශ මල්ලී,මවිදු මල්ලී, දිල්ශානී නංගී, චමෝදී අක්කා, සදුනි නංගී, සවින්දි නංගි සහ සචී නංගි තමා මගේ කන්ඩායමේ සාමාජිකයෝ. අපේ කණ්ඩායම හරි එකමුතුයි. යාලුවෝ කියනවට වැඩිය සහෝදරයෝ කියනවනම් හරි කියලයි මට හිතෙන්නේ. එයාලා තරම් මාව තේරුම් ගත්ත අය නැ කියලයි මට දැනෙන්නේ. මං වෙනුවෙන් ඕනම වෙලාවක එයාලා එතන හිටියා. මට ඇහෙන්නේ නෑ කියලා එයාලට ගානක්වත් නෑ. පෝන් එකට කෝල් එකක් ආවත් මට පෝන් එක දික් කරනවා කතා කරන්න කියලා. මට ඇහෙන්නේ නෑ කියලා එයාලට මතකවත් නෑ. අන්න එහෙමයි එයාලා මට හොද සහෝදරයෝ උනේ.

ඡායාරූපකරණයේදී ඔබ ලබපු අත්දැකීම් මොනවද?.
අත්දැකීම්නම් මොකක්ද අයියේ.. තත්වය අනුව වෙනස් වෙනවා. උදේට යද්දි ඉස්කෝලේ බෙල් එකේ සද්දේ ඇහෙන කොට ලොකු වදයක් වගේ දැනෙන්නේ ඒත් ඒ සද්දෙ වෙනුවෙන් හවස් වෙනකල්ම බලන් ඉන්නවා. බෙල් සද්දේ ඒකමයි නේද අයියේ… “ප්‍රශ්න” ඒක අපි හෑමෝටම තියෙනවනේ, අපරාදේ කියන්න බෑ මටත් ප්‍රශ්න කියන එක අඩුවක් නැතුවම තිබ්බා. ඒත් කවදාවත් ඉස්සරහට ගත්ත කකුල පස්සට ගත්තේ නෑ. තමාගේ ක්‍රියාව ගැන විස්වාසය තබන්නා තරම් ශක්තිමත් කෙනෙක් මේ ලොකේ නෑ කියලා බුදු හාමුදුරුවෝ දේශනා කරලා තියෙනවනේ. මං ඒක විස්වාස කරනවා. මට මාව විස්වාසයි. මට කන් ඇහෙන්නේ නැති නිසා මිනිස්සු මට පව් කියනවා. මම ඒකට පොඩ්ඩක්වත් කැමති නෑ. “පව්” කියන වචනෙට මම පොඩ්ඩක්වත් කැමති නැහැ. මට ඕනේ අනුකම්පාවෙන් නෙමේ මගේම මහන්සියෙන් මගේම විදිහට මේ ෆීල්ඩ් එකෙන් ඉස්සරහට යන්න.

ඡායාරූපකරණය තුළින් ඔබගේ ඉදිරි බලාපොරොත්තු මොනවද?
මට හොද නම ගන්න මගේ හිතට එකඟව මට එකඟ වෙන්න බැරි දේකට ආවඩන එක්කෙනෙක් නෙමේ මම. මම මොනා කරත් ඒක මගේම දෙයක් වෙන්න ඕනී. මටම කියලා වෙනමම ස්ටයිල් එකක් එක්ක. මගේම මහන්සියෙන් මගේම පාරක.

වර්තමානයේ කැමරාවක් ගත් සියල්ලෝම ඡායාරූප ශිල්පියෝ කියලා කියනවා. ඔබත් එවැනි අයෙක්ද? නැත්නම් අධ්‍යාපනයක් ලබා කටයුතු කරන්නෙක්ද?
සෙල්ලම දන්න ඕන කෙනෙක්ට සහබාගි වෙන්න පුලුවන් නමුත් ක්‍රියා පිලිවෙල දන්න කෙනෙයි ජයගන්නේ. මම විඩීයෝග්‍රැෆී පැත්තෙන් Yes Film School එකෙන් අධ්‍යක්ෂණය, තීර රචනය, කැමරාකරණය ඩිප්ලෝමාවක් ගත්තා. පොටෝග්‍රැෆී පැත්තෙන්නම් කිසිම කෝස් එකක් කරලා නැහැ. දන්න අයගෙන් අහලා, බලාගෙන ඉගෙන ගත්තු දැනුම තමා.

මේ ක්ෂේත්‍රයේදී දකින්නට අකමැති දේ මොකක්ද? ඒ වගේම ඔබ මුහුණ දුන් අමිහිරිතම අත්දැකීම ගැනත් කියමුද?
“ඉරිසියව” ගොඩක් අය අනුන්ට ඉරිසියයි. තමන්ට වැඩිය තව කෙනෙක් ඉස්සරහට යනවට සමහර අය කැමති නැහැ. මම මේ ෆීල්ඩ් එකේ ඉන්නවට ගොඩක් අය මට කැමති නෑ. හැබැයි මන් මොකද්ද එයාලට කල වැරැද්ද ඇහුවොත් එයාලට කියන්න දේකුත් නෑ. මම වගේ කෙනෙක් මේ ෆීල්ඩ් එකට එන නිසාද නැත්නම් නැත්නම් වෙන මොකක් හරි කියලද, ඒකට හේතුවවත් මම දන්නේ නෑ.

මේ ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ මේතාක් දුර එන්න ඔබට උදව් උපකාර කළ පිරිස ගැනත් මතක් කරමුද?
අම්මා තමා මගේ ලොකුම හයිය. “උබ ඕන දෙයක් කරපන් පුතේ, මම ඉන්නවා උබ වෙනුවෙන් ” තාත්තා කිව්වේ එහෙමයි. මම මේ ෆීල්ඩ් එකට එනකොට මට කැමරාවක්වත් තිබුනේ නැහැ. මට ඉස්සෙල්ලාම, මාව විස්වාස කරලා, දිරිමත් කරලා, මට කැමරාවක් අරං දුන්නේ “තිවන්ක කාවින්ද” අයියා ඒයාට පිං දෙනවා මං හැමදාම.

My name is KG. Sasanka Gihan Pubudu. I am 24 years old. I am a professional videographer. I also do photography as a hobby. When I was about 12 years old, my hearing started to decline a little bit and now I can’t hear very well. Not being able to hear has never been a hindrance to my career. I managed it all.

Tell us a little about your family and school time?
We are a family of five. Breastfeeding mom, mom, dad, me, sister. I was educated at Galewela Primary College and later completed my higher education at Galewela Central College. Educated at Rhinechus School.

How do you approach photography?
That was six years ago, in 2015. I first started “Lekha Studio” at the top of my list. I worked under brother Imesh. He was my first teacher. The journey that started from there was able to come to this place today.

Can you tell us about your travel village at the moment?
I do a lot of work on the videography side. Wolf Films is my identity. Also works on the photography side. I have a team. Chalika Malli, Pasidu, Dharshana Aiya, Hirusha Malli, Mavidu Malli, Dilshani Nangi, Chamodi Akka, Saduni Nangi, Savindi Nangi and Sachi Nangi are the members of my group. Our team is very united. I think it’s better to say brothers than friends. I feel that no one understands me as much as they do. They were there for me anytime. They don’t even care that I can’t hear. Even if I get a call on the phone, he extends the phone to ask me to talk. They don’t even remember that I can’t hear. That’s how they became good brothers to me.

What is your experience in photography?
What is the experience, brother? It varies according to the situation. When I hear the sound of the school bell in the morning, it feels like a big nuisance but I wait for the sound until the evening. The bell sounds the same, doesn’t it, brother … “Problems” We all have it, I can not say it’s a problem, I also had problems. But never took the front leg back. The Buddha has preached that there is no one in this world who is strong enough to believe in his own work. I believe that. I trust myself. People call me a sinner because I do not hear. I don’t like it at all. I do not like the word “sin” at all. I want to move forward in this field in my own way, not out of pity.

What are your future prospects through photography?
I’m not one of those people who likes to get a good name for something I can not agree with. Whatever I do, it has to be my own. With a different style of my own. My own road with my own hard work.

Nowadays everyone who takes a camera says they are photographers. Are you like that? Or an educated person?
Anyone who wants to know how to play can participate, but anyone who knows the order of the game wins. I got a diploma in videography from Yes Film School as a director, screenwriter and cinematographer. I have not done any course in photography. It is the knowledge gained by asking and watching from those who know.

What do you dislike to see in this field? And tell us about the most bitter experience you have ever had?
“Jealous” A lot of people are jealous of others. Some people do not want to be followed by others. A lot of people don’t want me to be in this field. But if I ask them what they did wrong, they have nothing to say. I do not know if it’s because someone like me comes to this field or something.

Remember the people who helped you get this far in this field?
Mom is my biggest strength. “Do whatever you want, son, I’m here for you,” Dad said. When I came to this field I did not even have a camera. First of all, he always believed in me, encouraged me and brought me a camera. I thank his brother Thivanka Kavinda every day.
“Imesh Ayya, Irosh Ayya, Chathuranga Karunanayake Ayya, Shan Ayya, Chamara Ayya, Thilak Ayya, Nuwan Ayya, Saman Ayya are the people in this field, I grew up watching them.
