Maxwell’s 104* outshines Gaikwad’s 123* ; AUS beat IND by 5 wickets


Glenn Maxwell’s extraordinary unbeaten century paved the way for the touring Australian team to secure a remarkable 5-wicket victory in the third T20I match against India on Tuesday (November 28).

India batted first in the Guwahati match and managed to score 222 runs while losing only 3 wickets, thanks to the outstanding century scored by opener Ruturaj Gaikwad.

He started the Indian innings and scored an unbeaten 123 off only 57 balls. His innings included 7 sixes and 13 fours.

In the final ball of the match, Australia managed to secure the victory despite losing 5 wickets during their reply innings.

Glenn Maxwell scored an unbeaten 104 off 48 balls. His innings included 8 sixes and 8 fours. Matthew Wade was unbeaten on 28(16).

In a challenging situation where Australia required 43 runs in the final two overs and 21 runs in the last over to secure a win, Maxwell and Wade successfully guided their team to triumph.
