Watch : Ish Sodhi gets caught in unusual bat-pad dismissal

Both teams concluded the second day of the first Test match between Bangladesh and New Zealand in Sylhet with equal honors.

At the end of the second day, New Zealand scored 266 runs for their first innings with the loss of 8 wickets.

Kane Williamson scored 104 runs. In bowling, Taijul Islam took 4 wickets for 89 runs.

At the beginning of the second day, Bangladesh’s score was 310-9.

But the Bangladesh innings ended when Tim Southee took the wicket of Shoriful Islam from the very first ball of the day.

Meanwhile, Ish Sodhi’s dismissal during the New Zealand innings caught the attention of many people around the world.

The ball delivered by Taijul Islam struck the inside edge of Sodhi’s bat, subsequently making contact with the wicketkeeper’s pads, and was ultimately caught by Shahadat Hossain, who was standing at short leg.
