Wasana, who is this Wasana?
I am a dancer by profession. My village is Malabe. I am the youngest in a family of six mom, dad and siblings.




How is Wasana? Isn’t it less busy these days?
Hmmm … well … yeah … these days it’s a little less busy with the Covid 19 epidemic.

Vasana Dancing Group is your dance troupe. Shall we talk about that?
Yes. Vasana Dancing Group is my dance troupe. I started this in 2016. At first I danced with a few of my friends.

What kind of events does your dance troupe participate in primarily?
We mainly participate in weddings, dance performances for corporate occasions, birthday parties and more.

What about the members of the dance troupe? From the beginning to the present.
Currently I have about ten artists in my dance troupe. All of these are professional dancers. In addition, Ves dancers and drummers are with me. New dancers are being recruited these days. Contact me for more information.

No. Dance outside the capital. We will pay more attention to the necessary transport and safety.

Can you tell us about the obstacles encountered during this journey as a dance troupe?
There are many obstacles. Sometimes the number of times I think “I can’t” is infinite. But I do my job better than I thought I would.

Do you do dance as a profession or while engaging in another profession?
I have loved dancing since I was a child. This is something I enjoy doing more than a career.

What is the impact of the Kovid 19 epidemic on dance groups like you?
We have to face the Covid 19 epidemic. We are waiting for the country to recover. Nowadays, it is permissible to hold weddings, and it is customary to attend ceremonies in accordance with health care instructions.

Who is assisting or assisting in these activities?
My brothers and sisters, including my mother and father, have been my strength. Most of the time they decide what I should and should not do. Special mention should be made of the dancers in my dance troupe. They also support me.

When your dance troupe chooses an event, do they also consider the costumes associated with the dance?
Yes I am especially concerned about that. I design clothes according to the ceremony I receive. We are especially concerned about the venue, the audience, and the reason for the event. My dance troupe never wears naked clothes. That’s why Vasana Dancing Group is unique compared to other dance groups.
