✍️ Vinudi, you have achieved a massive victory, haven’t you?
Yes, winning the Miss Diamond Queen International Winner 2026 title is one of the most precious achievements in my life. I am currently preparing to represent my country at the upcoming Miss Aura International 2027 pageant in Turkey. This crown is not just an ordinary title; it is a dream come true. I am humbly happy about this victory. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to the Miss Diamond Queen International Pageant National Director, Mr. Damith Anju, and Team Manager, Miss Prashadi Chathurika, for their valuable guidance.
✍️ How did you enter this competition?
Ever since I was a little girl, I had a dream to win a crown, and I’ve always been passionate about modeling and acting. I applied for the Miss Diamond Queen auditions, got selected, and that is how I entered this pageant.
✍️ What experiences and lessons did you gain during the contest?
I gained a lot of valuable experiences during the competition. As a contestant, I had the opportunity to compete with mutual understanding alongside other contestants. Competing in the mini-pageants gave me immense exposure. I learned so many essential skills, such as catwalk, creativity & artistic expression, time management, confidence, teamwork, and collaboration.
✍️ What kind of knowledge did you have about modeling before this?
When I first entered this pageant, I had no basic knowledge of modeling whatsoever. Through this pageant, I gained a vast amount of knowledge regarding the modeling industry.
✍️ Everyone is talking about your talent round performance. Tell us about it.
For the talent round, I performed a dancing item. I am a dancer who has completed the traditional ‘Pahimpath’ graduation ritual. So, since childhood, I brought my signature skill into the talent round by showcasing four distinct dancing concepts within a single performance: Upcountry dance (Udarata), Upcountry Geta Bera drumming, Low-country Pandam Paliya, and Indian Dhol drumming, putting up a strong performance.
✍️ We heard that you won several titles in the pageant?
Yes, I won six titles: Miss Intelligence, Miss Popularity, Miss Super Talent, Most Creative Costume, Miss Personality (1st Runner Up), and Best Figure.
✍️ What obstacles did you encounter along the way?
Winning a crown is not as easy for a girl as people think. It requires deep dedication, self-confidence, and intelligence. There were instances where various people tried to drag me down by saying negative things about this field. But no one can drag me down. I turned every obstacle into an experience and fought hard for victory.
✍️ You achieved this while being a university student, right?
Yes, I achieved this victory while continuing my university studies.
✍️ Who supports you in these endeavors?
I have my own inner drive, and in addition to that, I have the full support of my family.
✍️ What are your future goals?
In the future, I will be competing in the Miss Aura International 2027 pageant representing my country. Alongside moving forward in the modeling field, my primary objective while continuing my university studies is to become a teacher.
✍️ How do your family and friends feel about this accomplishment?
I believe that becoming Miss Diamond Queen is a valuable pride I give to my family. They are extremely happy about the success I have achieved.
✍️ What are your thoughts on love?
Love is a beautiful feeling felt by the heart rather than expressed in words. Love is truly wonderful when shared with a loving person.
✍️ Are you currently in a relationship?
Yes, I am in a relationship.
✍️ What advice would you give to newcomers wanting to enter this field?
Well, when considering this field, both good and bad exist. My advice to newcomers entering the industry is that if you act wisely, you can succeed. The field is good; what matters most is your own intelligence and mindfulness.
