How to join the art industry?
I joined the art industry through the talented and popular actor Mr. Anil Jayasinghe. He is the one who opened the path of the art world for me and shows me the way to follow my dream.

I first joined the Visual Impact Production Company and then studied under Mr. Gamini S. Bandara as the Assistant Art Director of Vehilihini Telenatya which was aired on Hiru Eda channel.

As an assistant art director and second assistant director, I have contributed professionally in several TV dramas including Vahilihini, Dutu Nudutu Mala, Heart Cart, Pitthala Kondaruma, Piccha Mala Suvadai, Mahinsa, Neela Pabalu and the upcoming movie Passport.

Yes… Currently I am involved in several productions and contribute by acting.
What kind of help does acting get from the two previous fields?
Actually, due to the experience I gained by working in the industry for almost 12 years, it helped me a lot to solve many things like fear, anxiety, dialogue handling and other problems that arise in acting. But as a beginner to the serious task of acting, I am still learning from scratch and always trying to add experience to my life.
