Zimbabwe out of T20 World Cup 2024 ; Here is the full list of qualified teams

On Thursday (November 30), Zimbabwe’s hopes of qualifying for the 2024 T20 World Cup were dashed as they were unable to secure one of the top two spots in the Africa Region Qualifier points table.

Accordingly, Namibia and Uganda, having secured the top two spots in the points table, have earned qualification for the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Uganda emerged victorious in today’s game against Rwanda. (Rwanda 65/10 (18.5), Uganda 66/1 (8.1) This marks their fifth win out of the six matches played in the tournament.

This is the first time in history that Uganda has qualified for an ICC World Cup.

Apart from Zimbabwe, which lost to Namibia and Uganda, countries like Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Rwanda, which played in the Africa Region Qualifier, were also unable to qualify for the T20 World Cup.

The 2024 T20 World Cup is set to take place between June 4 and June 30 in the West Indies and USA, with participation from 20 countries.

  10. Sri Lanka (Top eight teams from the 2022 T20 World Cup)
  11. Afghanistan (Next two teams from the rankings)
  12. Bangladesh (Next two teams from the rankings)
