President Ranil Wickremesinghe said today that he will look into the three letters sent by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board to the International Cricket Council.
The President, who requested the opposition leader Sajith Premadasa to send the three letters to him, assured that he would look into the matter.
He said this in response to a statement by the opposition leader that he had sent three letters to the ICC on November 6, 7 and 9, saying that there was unnecessary interference in the affairs of the Sri Lanka Cricket Association and requesting the suspension of the Sri Lanka Cricket Association.
The opposition leader said that he tabled the three articles in the parliament.
“Send me the three letters. I will follow up on them,” said the President.
