Australia beat New Zealand by 5 runs…

The Australian team managed to record a sharp victory by 5 runs in the 27th match of the World Cup One Day Cricket Series.

It was in the match against the New Zealand team at the Dharamshala Stadium today.

The New Zealand team won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Accordingly, the Australian team came to the field to bat and managed to score 388 runs in 49.2 overs.

For the Australian team, Travis Head scored 109 runs in 67 balls which included 10 fours and seven sixes.

David Warner scored 81 runs and Glenn Maxwell scored 41 runs.

Josh Inglis scored 38 points, Pat Cummins scored 37 points and Mitchell Marsh scored 36 points.

Marnus Labuschagne and Steven Smith scored 18 points each.

Mitchell Starc was out for one run and Adam Zampa failed to score.

Australia’s innings was reduced to 388 with 9 extra runs.

Glenn Phillips and Trent Boult took three wickets each for the New Zealand team while Mitchell Santner took two wickets.

Meanwhile, Matt Henry and James Neesham managed to take one wicket each.

The New Zealand team, which came to the field to chase a winning target of 389 runs, could only score 383 runs for the loss of 9 wickets at the end of the scheduled 50 overs.

Rachin Ravindra scored 116 runs and James Neesham scored 58 runs for the New Zealand innings.

Daryl Mitchell was out for 54 runs, Will Young was out for 32 runs, Devon Conway was out for 28 runs and Tom Latham was out for 21 runs.

None of the other players managed to cross the 20 points mark.

Accordingly, the New Zealand team could get only 383 runs with the loss of 9 wickets with 26 additional runs.

Adam Zampa took three wickets for the Australian team while Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins took two wickets each.

Glenn Maxwell managed to take one wicket.

Meanwhile, the 28th match of the World Cup One Day Cricket Series is currently being held at Eden Gardens between the Bangladesh team and the Netherlands team.
