The convener of the anti-corruption voice organization, Wasantha Samarasinghe, appeals to the people not to fall for more than forty fraudulent institutions that offer loans online, as they are taking advantage of a large-scale scam in this country.

He says that the central bank should investigate and take legal action on the institutions that provide these loans at interest rates of three hundred and sixty five percent.

He states that he is carrying out this loan racket by advertising on social media to get emergency loans online.

Tell the loan applicants to download an app and all the data of the loan applicant, even the phone number etc.
He has also said with evidence that the institutions provided are carefully obtained.

He says that when these loans are given at an interest rate of one per cent per day and not repaid, he calls and threatens not only the borrower but also others on his phone.

He has also asked to immediately investigate the institutions that give high interest loans without registering with the Central Bank.
